Its 8:00pm here in Canada and we checked the CCAA website and it was updated finally after a week of rumours driving us insane. They got through to December 8th…..sadly that means we missed the cut-off by ONE day. BUT what that does mean is……………………our referral should be in the NEXT batch, we are December 9th!! So by the first or second week of December we should have our munchkins referral file and we should travel to China before the end of January 2008. FINALLY there is an end to the tangles in this long red thread.

You're next!!!! Oh my gosh that is so exciting and wonderful. Ahhhhh. We missed the cutoff by one day too, but after a couple of days we realized that it was actually awesome to finally KNOW that we were in the next batch for sure. We spent the rest of the month celebrating.
It's official...you are next. Once you get over the disappointment of this month(and rightfully so), be sure to enjoy every minute of the build up to finally seeing your baby's face! It's the most amazing time. You guys are on the exact same timeline as we were last year! We got our referral on Dec. 11 and travelled on February 2nd. We will be watching closely next month...

I was sorry to see the 9th wasn't included this month, I was really hoping to travel with you. It definitely is a great feeling to know you are next and what an awesome Christmas gift that you will have her picture before Christmas. The time will fly by and be here before you know it. I can't wait to see the pictures!
